You can set this up on the pay screen in the Bip app. You can choose what you want to pay off each month.
It can take your bank up to six working days to sort out. This doesn’t include the day you set it up. Your app will let you know if it’ll be ready for the next time your payment’s due.
There are a number of ways to pay to suit your style. Take a look at the payments screen in your Bip app. Some ways to pay are by Direct Debit, internet banking, card payment.
You can pay anytime to help save money on interest. Just be sure to pay at least your contractual minimum payment every month before it's due. And make extra payments when you’re able to. Any payment made before your statement is issued won't count towards the contractual minimum payment.
If you miss a payment, your Bip will be frozen and the missed payment will be reported to credit reference agencies.
You’ll get a statement to your Bip app inbox once a month, if there is a transaction on your account. All customers get statements electronically, but if you have accessibility needs, let us know and another format can be organised for you. All statements have the same information, no matter what format they’re in.
